The fitting at the outboard end of the boom on which the mainsheet block with becket is mounted often requires re-securing either because the aluminium has wasted due to corrosion, the fitting has been repeatedly overstressed or, with older booms, the pop rivets have simply worked loose.

This kit has all the parts required to affect that repair.
