Lower assembly attachment bolt for ILCA Harken Vang Unit

There are many ways to attach the ILCA vang lower assembly to the lower mast tang.

Possibly the most reliable & most secure method is the use of a bolt which also offers the least resistance to the outhaul & Cunningham lead lines.

This bolt is custom made to the correct length with the unthreaded shank providing the load bearing surface with only enough thread to attach the nylock nut with minimum projection.

Tools required to attach:

• 2 x 10mm spanners or
• 1 x 10mm socket & 1 x 10mm spanner
